PEKANBARU, Journalist’s Notes — In an effort to “spread its wings”, the University of South Sumatra (USS) is collaborating with the Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (APKASINDO).
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Rector of USS, Yudha Pratomo Mahyuddin, M.Sc, Ph.D and the General Chair of the APKASINDO Central Executive Board, Dr. Ir. Gulat Medali Emas Manurung MP, C.IMA, C.APO, was carried out last weekend.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding coincided with the momentum of the SIEXPO Palm Oil Indonesia Expo and Conference Forum at the Pekanbaru Convention and Exhibition, Riau, August 7-9, 2025.
“This collaboration is intended to strengthen the Tridharma of Higher Education activities at the University of South Sumatra, namely Education, Research, and Community Service for all APKASINDO members,” said Yudha, smiling. (asm/hms/ril).
